- The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center (SQCC) applications for the 2025 Summer Arabic Language and Media (SALAM) program in the Sultanate of Oman are open. SALAM is a fully-funded intensive Arabic language scholarship program.

- The Yale Peabody Museum is offering several internships this summer for Yale students.
- One of these is at the Yale Babylonian Collection on the subject of provenance research (the Yale Babylonian Collection Provenance Initiative). The intern will work on provenance research at the collection and gain a background in researching and documenting the provenance of Middle Eastern antiquities.
- Another internship that may be of interest for NELC students focuses on collection, accession, and analysis of ethnobotanical remains from Greece (Ancient Pharmacology in the Field and Collections).
