Placement Test
Placement tests are designed to measure the level of students who come from other institutions or basically those who come with a prior knowledge of Arabic. An online placement test will be available from July through August . After completing the online test, students must schedule a short interview in Arabic over Zoom (5-8 minutes) with the Arabic faculty. Sometimes, the result of the test does not reflect the actual student’s level. Therefore, teachers may convene to discuss a student level in order to put them in the right course. The evaluation by the Arabic language instructors of the level to which the student will be assigned with reference to the Arabic courses, which are offered in NELC, is final and will be respected.
